Permanent freckles typically last between 1-3 years. Their longevity can be influenced by factors such as skin type, sun exposure, and aftercare.

14 DAYS BEFORE PROCEDURE:

Avoid Botox and fillers around the eye and forehead area.

Avoid Glycolic acid, chemical peels, and laser treatments on the face

Avoid Retinols and anti-aging creams eg. Retin A

Avoid extensive sun exposure and sunburn on the face

1 WEEK BEFORE PROCEDURE:

Avoid Motrin, Advil, Ibuprofen, Naproxen (Tylenol/Acetaminophen is ok to consume)

Avoid fish oils, DHA supplements, cayenne supplements, turmeric, vitamin e, niacin (or anything that can cause blood thinning)

Avoid sun tanning

***If any of the above are taken for medical purposes, please consult with your physician.

1-3 DAYS BEFORE YOUR PROCEDURE:

Avoid alcohol (especially red wine)

Avoid excessive amounts of caffeine - , drink decaffeinated

DAY OF PROCEDURE:

Avoid intense physical activity (light yoga and walking are ok)

Do not wear any makeup on the day of your appointment

*** Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle so avoid any permanent makeup during this time.

• Apply any medicated cream or healing balm as recommended by your technician. The cream should be applied for up to 7 days. 

• Don’t put makeup on your face for at least 7 days. This is because the skin is still healing.

• Don’t pick at scabs, tug, or itch the freckles. Again, this will increase the chance of infection and possibly cause skin damage and scarring.

• Avoid saunas, swimming, and excessive sweating for one week

• Long Term Aftercare: Wear SPF! Sun exposure over a prolonged period of time will fade the tattoo. Do not use strong chemical acids/ peels (salicylic, glycolic, lactic acids), IPL or laser on the healed cosmetic tattoo, as these will fade the tattoo over time.
