Being nurse-led isn't a marketing angle. It means we answer to a regulatory body, we follow clinical standards, and we make decisions based on what's actually best for you, not what's easiest to sell. That accountability is built into everything we do.

Meet Our Medical and Beauty Team
Hilary started her nursing career in 2017 on a medical-surgical unit after graduating from Fleming College. She completed her first injectable certification in 2018, then returned to school to earn her BScN in 2022. In 2024 she obtained her RN Prescribing Certification, which allows her to diagnose and prescribe specified medications.

She founded Subtle Enhancements after years of working at top Toronto medspas, where she saw firsthand the difference between treating anatomy and chasing trends. Her advanced training includes work with Dr. Arthur Swift, Erika Barry, and Dr. Lee Walker, covering facial harmonization, biostimulatory techniques, complication management, and cadaver labs. She's known for facial balancing, Sculptra, and combination treatments that build results gradually over time.
Before nursing, Hilary spent a decade working with animals and has been a foster dog parent for years. She has three rescues of her own.
What I’m known for: I’m best known for facial balancing with Filler and lifting with Sculptra!
Treatment I recommend the most: For first-timers, I usually start with the ‘easiest’ treatment, Botox

What I’d tell someone nervous about booking: This is normal. The first treatment is the fear of the unknown; once you see us a second time, you’re usually asking what else you can do 🤣
One thing about me: I love live music, especially metal! You’ll see me dancing it up in the middle of the mosh pit!
Arlena graduated from nursing school in 2017, where she and Hilary first met, and completed her first injectable certification in 2019 through RX Cosmetics. She's continued building her skills through Swift Beauty, Master Nurse Injector training, an Allergan cadaver lab, and ongoing conferences.

Claudia graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2020 with her BScN and a minor in Psychology, and went on to work in Labour and Delivery, where she still practices today. Her interest in both science and aesthetics led her to complete the Medical Esthetic Practitioner program at Centennial College in 2023, followed by a three-month mentorship with Hilary. She's trained with specialists across Europe and North America, and she brings that international perspective to everything she does. More importantly, she's obsessed with understanding the "why" behind treatments, not just the "how."
In the clinic, Valeriia believes every patient should leave understanding what happened to their skin and how to support those results at home. Jennifer, our Medical Director, is a nurse practitioner with 15 years in medicine and clinical education. She trained at Western University (BScN) and the University of Toronto, where she completed her Masters and NP training and later taught nursing, earning the Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award. Teaching introduced her to the precision required in aesthetics, and she's since completed cadaver-based training with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and international ultrasound-guided facial mapping.

Jennifer speaks nationally on complications, chairs APANS, and serves as a THMA Clinical Trainer and Galderma Peer-to-Peer Mentor. She joined Subtle Enhancements remotely in 2022, before the Parkdale location opened, helping with patient follow-ups and scheduling as the business began to grow. After the brick-and-mortar clinic opened, she joined the team in 2024. While Jacky is primarily the clinic’s Front Desk Coordinator, being part of a small business team means wearing many hats, and she’s always happy to jump in and support wherever she can.
Jacky loves creating the kind of experience where patients feel seen and heard. Whether it’s remembering a small detail from a conversation four months ago, answering questions, or simply making someone feel at ease when they walk through the door, she’ll always do what she can to help.

Lori has always had an interest in skincare, health and general well-being. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as that’s likely where Hilary gets her passion for medical aesthetics!
Lori remains quite active these days as fitness and taking care of herself are a priority. She is a new resident to Port Credit and along with Hilary’s dad Wayne, they are spending their time exploring their new neighbourhood and are travelling regularly.
